📦 Order & shipping

How fast is my order shipped?
In-stock items ship within 24 hours (Mon–Fri). Delivery then usually takes 1–3 business days. You receive an order confirmation by email.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping is a flat 8.99 €. From an order value of 300 € we ship free of charge.
Where do you ship to?
We ship across Europe. Within the EU there are no customs surprises; for deliveries to non-EU countries (e.g. Switzerland) import duties may apply, which the recipient covers. Not sure whether we ship to your country? Drop us a line – we’ll find a solution.
Do I get tracking?
Yes. As soon as your parcel is on its way, we send you the tracking number and carrier by email so you can follow the delivery at any time.
Can I still change or cancel my order?
As long as your parcel hasn’t shipped yet, that’s no problem – just message us via the contact form with your order number.
Do I need a customer account?
No. You order conveniently as a guest – only the details we need for delivery and confirmation. No account, no password.

Payment

Which payment methods can I use?
Bitcoin and Lightning via our own BTCPay server, credit card via Revolut, and bank transfer (prepayment). After ordering you’re forwarded to the matching payment.
Do I get a discount when paying with Bitcoin?
Yes. If you pay with Bitcoin or Lightning you get 5% off the item value – the discount is shown directly in the cart and at checkout.
How does the Bitcoin payment work?
At checkout you choose “Bitcoin / Lightning” and are taken to our BTCPay server. There you scan the QR code with your wallet. Once the payment is confirmed, your order status updates automatically – with no third party involved.
How does bank transfer work?
You choose “Bank transfer” and receive our account details directly on the confirmation page and by email. Please use your order number as the payment reference. We ship as soon as the payment has arrived (prepayment).
Is card payment secure?
Yes. We process card payments via the regulated payment provider Revolut. We never see or store card details – entry is encrypted directly with the provider.
Do I get an invoice?
Yes. You receive your order confirmation by email; on request we’ll send an invoice to the same address.

Products & mining

What is a Bitaxe or NerdQaxe?
They’re compact, open-source Bitcoin miners for the home. They use the same type of ASIC chip as large industrial miners, but run the open AxeOS firmware – transparent, quiet and economical enough for your desk.
Which miner is right for beginners?
For getting started we recommend the Bitaxe Gamma 601 or the Nerdaxe Gamma: a single BM1370 ASIC, around 1.3 TH/s, very economical and quiet. If you want more hashrate, go for the NerdQaxe ++ or the NerdOctaxe. Our miner comparison puts all devices side by side.
Is solo mining even worth it?
Honest answer: solo mining is like a lottery ticket. The chance of finding a block on your own is small – but if it works out, the reward is entirely yours. For most people it’s a fascinating hobby and a contribution to decentralizing the network, not a reliable source of income.
What does “open source” mean for the miners?
The hardware design and firmware (AxeOS) are open. You can see and change every setting, install updates yourself and aren’t tied to any manufacturer account. The device truly belongs to you – no black box.
What is AxeOS?
AxeOS is the open firmware all our miners run on. Through a clear web dashboard you set pool, frequency and voltage and watch hashrate and temperature in real time – entirely in the browser, with no app or account.
Are the miners loud?
That depends on the model. Small devices like the Bitaxe Gamma or Nerdaxe Gamma are very quiet at around 15 watts and living-room friendly. More powerful models like the NerdQaxe ++ or the NerdOctaxe are audible. The exact power draw is listed in each product’s specifications.
Can I also use the miner as a small heater?
Essentially yes: the power drawn is converted almost entirely into heat. A single Bitaxe warms only slightly; several or larger devices give off noticeable heat – a nice side effect in winter.

🔌 Power costs & mining in practice

How much electricity does a miner use?
A Bitaxe Gamma draws only about 15 watts – that’s around 0.36 kWh per day, or roughly 4–5 € a month (at ~0.35 €/kWh). The NerdQaxe ++ is around 80 watts, the NerdOctaxe correspondingly higher. You’ll find the exact consumption per product in the specifications.
Do I need my own Bitcoin wallet?
Yes. You need a Bitcoin address for your mining rewards to go to – e.g. from a hardware or mobile wallet you control yourself. You simply enter this address in AxeOS. Not your keys, not your coins.
Which mining pool do you recommend?
For solo mining, public solo pools like solo.ckpool.org are popular; for regular small payouts a public pool works well. In AxeOS you enter the pool freely and can switch at any time – you’re not locked in.
Do I need additional accessories?
The power supply and stand come with the miners – you can start right away. If you want to overclock or lower temperatures further, add one of our coolers (e.g. AXP60 Copperzilla or ICE Tower). But it’s not required.
Can I run several miners at once?
Yes, easily. Each miner runs independently over WiFi and its own AxeOS dashboard. Just make sure you have enough free outlets and some space for ventilation.

🛠️ Setup, warranty & support

How do I set up my miner?
In a few minutes: connect it to power, get it onto your network via WiFi and enter your pool or solo address in the AxeOS web interface. Need help? Message us – we’ll support you.
Do I get firmware updates?
Yes. AxeOS is actively developed by the open-source community. You install updates yourself via the web dashboard – free and without a manufacturer account.
What if my device arrives defective?
That shouldn’t happen – but if it does, just get in touch via the contact form with your order number. We’ll sort it out quickly and easily, including a replacement.
What warranty do I have?
The statutory warranty applies. You also have a 14-day right of withdrawal – so you can test your device in peace and return it without risk.
How do I reach support?
Fastest via our contact form. We reply ourselves and usually within 24 hours – no bot, no hold queue.
