Product description
Inside the Bitaxe Gamma Hex 1300, six BM1370 ASICs compute in parallel: six times the chip that works on its own in the Bitaxe Gamma 601. An ESP32-S3 running AxeOS controls them and joins your network over 2.4 GHz WiFi. We list it at its overclocked operating point: around 10.5 TH/s while drawing about 200 watts, which makes roughly 19 J/TH. In factory trim it is more economical, with around 8.4 TH/s from about 150 watts and roughly 17.9 J/TH. Which of the two you run is set in AxeOS through frequency and core voltage, and you can go back at any time.
Why water? Six chips on one board produce 150 to 200 watts of heat in a tight space. A closed water loop collects it at the ASICs and brings it to a radiator fitted with an RGB fan behind a Bitcoin-themed fan grille. What the water does not reach is handled by a second fan. It measures 80 mm, sits at the rear and is aimed at the TPS546D24A voltage regulators and everything else on that side of the board. Those are the parts that prepare the power for the chips and work hardest when overclocked.
Power and placement: the 12 volts come in through an XT60 plug that carries high currents safely even in continuous use; the matching power supply is included. Around the clock that adds up to roughly 110 kWh per month in factory trim and roughly 146 kWh overclocked. The extra 50 watts give you a good 2 TH/s more but cost efficiency. Your electricity price decides whether that is worth it; our mining calculator works it out with your numbers. Every watt-hour turns into room heat in the end, so a shelf with air all around is a better spot than a closed compartment, giving both fans room to breathe.
Where it sits in our range: above the Bitaxe Supra Hex 702, its little brother. Both carry six chips, but the 702 uses the older BM1368 and delivers around 4.2 TH/s. At its overclocked setting the newer model manages two and a half times that. Above it sit the NerdOctaxe and NerdOctaxe Hydro with eight BM1370, which deliver more hashrate at a similar power draw and cost noticeably more. For solo mining you point AxeOS at a solo pool such as our pool.opensourceminers.de together with your own Bitcoin address. If your miner finds a block, the block reward goes straight to you. Even at 10.5 TH/s there is no guarantee of a hit.
Pre-order: we send out the first units on 16 November 2026, strictly in order of purchase. The box contains the miner with its water cooling and the 12 V power supply. No account, no cloud, hardware that is yours.
