The Nerdaxe Gaia is the new generation of the Nerdaxe line. Its new BM1373 ASIC delivers around 2.6 TH/s, roughly double the hashrate of a classic single-ASIC Bitaxe, at just ~25 watts and around 10 J/TH. The large 1.9" display shows hashrate, temperature and shares at a glance, and everything runs on NerdOS, the Nerdaxe branch of the open AxeOS firmware: set your pool, fine-tune frequency and voltage, watch in real time. You do not need a manufacturer account for any of it.

That makes the Gaia a good fit for anyone who wants more hashrate for solo mining without giving up efficiency or the open Bitaxe/Nerdaxe world. Set up over WiFi in minutes and mining right away. If you want more hashrate from the same chip, the Nerdaxe Gaia Copper Pro pairs this board with a factory-fitted copper cooler and around 3 TH/s out of the box.

When does the Nerdaxe Gaia ship?

The Gaia is a pre-order. The first batch is sold out. Orders placed now are part of the second batch, shipping from November 7, 2026, strictly in order of purchase. You will get a shipping confirmation with tracking as soon as your unit goes out.

How is the Gaia different from the Nerdaxe Gamma?

The Gaia uses the newer BM1373 ASIC with about 2.6 TH/s, roughly double the Gamma's hashrate, at a similar efficiency, plus the large 1.9" display.

Gaia or Gaia Copper Pro?

Same board and chip. The Gaia runs its stock cooler at around 2.6 TH/s and 25 W, the most efficient option at around 10 J/TH. The Gaia Copper Pro carries a factory-fitted AXP60 Copper Pro copper cooler and is set to around 3 TH/s at 33 W. Take the Gaia for the best efficiency per kilowatt-hour, the Gaia Copper Pro for more hashrate without swapping the cooler yourself.

How loud and power-hungry is it?

Around 25 watts and ~10 J/TH, so still economical and quiet enough for the living room in normal operation.

Solo mining or pool?

Both: in NerdOS you freely choose to go solo for a whole block (a big reward, but pure chance whether and when) or join a pool for small regular payouts.
