Product description

The Nerdaxe Gaia Pro takes the BM1373 chip of the Gaia and gives it the cooling it needs for more clock: an AXP60 Copperzilla with 210 grams of copper, two heat pipes and a 60 mm fan, fitted and tuned at the factory. The result is around 3 TH/s at about 33 watts, 15 percent more hashrate than the Gaia with its stock cooler, in continuous operation with headroom to the temperature limit. The miner arrives ready to go: connect WiFi, enter pool and Bitcoin address, mine. You do not have to overclock anything, but you can, because NerdOS, the Nerdaxe branch of the open AxeOS firmware, lets you set frequency, voltage and fan curve yourself in the browser.

Who is the Pro for? Anyone who wants the efficient BM1373 but prefers the higher hashrate over the last tenth of a joule. The Gaia remains the more frugal device at around 10 J/TH; the Gaia Pro gets more lottery tickets out of the same chip at around 11 J/TH and saves you the cooler swap. The 1.9-inch display, the ESP32-S3 and the controls are identical; the larger 72-watt power supply is included. No account, no cloud, hardware that is yours.

When does the Nerdaxe Gaia Pro ship?

It is a pre-order. Shipping starts on 7 November 2026, strictly in order of purchase. You get a shipping confirmation with tracking as soon as your unit leaves.

Gaia or Gaia Pro?

Same chip, same board, same display. The Gaia runs at around 2.6 TH/s and 25 W with the stock cooler and is the more efficient device at around 10 J/TH. The Gaia Pro carries the AXP60 Copperzilla and is factory-set to around 3 TH/s at 33 W, around 11 J/TH. If you want maximum efficiency per kilowatt-hour, take the Gaia; if you want more hashrate without swapping the cooler yourself, take the Pro.

Do I have to overclock it myself?

No. The Gaia Pro comes set to around 3 TH/s. Further steps are possible in NerdOS, but every step above the factory setting costs efficiency and headroom; our AxeOS tuning guide explains where the sensible limits are.

How loud is the Gaia Pro?

We have no measured dB value and do not quote one. The 60 mm fan moves the same air at lower speed than the 40 mm fan of the Gaia, but the Pro also dissipates more heat. In practice it is a quiet desk device; the fan curve in NerdOS is yours to set.

Is a power supply included?

Yes, a 12 V / 6 A power supply with 72 watts, sized for the higher draw of the Pro. A stand and a quick start guide are in the box as well.

Can I run it on 5 GHz WiFi?

No. The ESP32-S3 only uses the 2.4 GHz band. If your router broadcasts both bands under one name, switch 5 GHz off briefly for setup or create a separate 2.4 GHz network.

Solo mining or pool?

Both. In NerdOS you point the miner at a solo pool such as our own pool.opensourceminers.de or at any regular pool. 3 TH/s means 15 percent more chances per block than the Gaia; solo mining remains a lottery either way.
